Hi. I’m Kathy Imabayashi, a mom, author, entrepreneur, and retired educator. An incident when my son was very young, opened the door to what would become my passion and mission in life - to understand and advocate for the emotional world of boys. Today I work to support parents and educators in doing the same through various avenues, including the courses available here, parent workshops, and one-on-one coaching. Many boys silently grapple with their pain in a world that often labels them as violent and toxic. Parents struggle to understand and support their sons. This struggle frequently leads to turmoil and discord within households, depleting parents’ energy and sense of tranquility. My mission is to help parents in gaining a deeper understanding of boys and arming them with effective strategies to parent with more empathy and competence.
